Brooklyn Book Festival Bookends Event: A Literary Salon

The Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUNY, and The Center for Arts & Culture at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation present a literary salon with Okey Ndibe, author of Foreign Gods, Inc., Arrows of Rain, and the forthcoming Never Look an American in the Eye, and Imbolo Mbue, author of Behold the Dreamers. This literary gathering will include music, a reception, and a roundtable discussion with Mbue and Ndibe discussing their works and the ways African-born narratives fit with African-American narratives. The writers will also read from their works and sign their books.
